Privacy Statement

Web-site users

There are facilities on this web site (for example, the Contact Form and the Course Booking Form) where you will be invited to submit personal information such as your name, your address, your contact details or, in the case of booking a course, details of your prior training.  The personal information which you provide on these forms will be stored securely and confidentially and will be used solely for the purpose of Team Focus making contact with you.  Your personal information will not be supplied to any party outside of Team Focus.

Team Focus clients

From this site, there is a link which will take you to the Profiling for Success (PFS) Client Area which is located at our site at  When setting up your account, you will need to provide your name and contact details.  The information which you provide will be stored securely and confidentially and will be used solely for the purposes of managing  and administering the Profiling for Success assessment system: for example, ensuring we can contact you, defining default e-mail addresses for reports to be sent to you and so on.  Any personal information you supply will not be supplied to any party outside of Team Focus.  Furthermore, if you supply personal information regarding individuals who are to be assessed (for example when setting up licences for a project), this information will also be treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed to any party outside Team Focus.

Test takers

There are links on this site which lead to the Profiling for Success (PFS) online assessment system which is located at our site at If you purchase one of the PFS assessments and then go on to take the test or questionnaire, you will be asked to submit your personal details (name, sex, age, email address) and also of course you will submit the responses to whichever test or questionnaire you are about to take.  The information you provide will be treated confidentially and will be passed to no other organisation outside Team Focus.  Any identifying information you submit (e.g. your name and email address) will be stored with your test / questionnaire data for a period of time and will then eventually be deleted entirely from our systems.  We will retain the data from the test or questionnaire you have taken for longer period as we use such data for the purpose of research and improving our tests and questionnaires.  However, the data that we retain will be entirely anonymous with all personally identifying information having been removed.

Test takers asked to take a test or questionnaire by another organisation

If you have been asked to take a test or questionnaire by another organisation (or by Team Focus acting on behalf of another organisation), then the conditions specified under 'Test Takers' above will apply but with one exception.  This is that the information you supply will be passed to the organisation that has asked you to take the assessment.

To give you an example, suppose that you have applied for a job for a company called ABC Ltd.  When you have taken the tests and questionnaires they have asked you to take, one or more reports of your results will be sent to the person at ABC Ltd who is responsible for managing the company's assessments on PFS or to another person in that company who needs to know your results.  The reports will provide a summary of your performance on the test and will include your name and possibly other personal / biographical information you have submitted.  ABC Ltd may also download your test data for importing into a spreadsheet or database.  In both cases, the data passed to ABC Ltd would contain only the personal / biographical information and summary scores or your results and not the detailed responses you submitted to the questionnaire.

Although Team Focus undertake to store your data confidentially and to provide it to no additional third party, Team Focus is not in a position to make guarantees and can accept no responsibility in relation to how the data will be used or treated by the organisation which has asked you to take the tests or questionnaires.  If you have concerns in this respect, we would advise you to take them up directly with the organisation in question.
